When it comes to testing the hardness of metals, you’re in capable hands with Foundrax. We provide a wide range of Brinell and Rockwell hardness test blocks that are supplied with internationally recognised UKAS certificates of calibration and are available over an extensive range of hardness values.

A hardness reference block is used to confirm whether your hardness tester or microscope is calibrated correctly. The blocks are designed to be easy to use and offer excellent value for money. They are lapped and polished to a mirror finish to optimise ease of measurement.

Hardness Test Blocks

As industry leaders in hardness testing, we use only the highest quality materials for the manufacture of our test blocks, guaranteeing excellent quality. Our Brinell test blocks are most frequently employed where cast (rather than machined) components are being tested for hardness. They are available with both standard and custom grids which makes them easier to work with and enables the correct spacing of indentations. They are suitable for a wide range of applications. All of our hardness reference blocks are calibrated in-house at our UKAS-accredited laboratory.

Brinell and Rockwell Hardness Reference Blocks

At Foundrax, we provide hardness reference blocks to cover a full range of requirements. We supply our products to some of the most renowned industrial companies in the world. The Foundrax Brinell reference block range is recognised for its quality and consistency – a critical requirement for those in the engineering sector. Foundrax’s Rockwell hardness reference block range is principally used in applications where machined components are being tested (rather than cast ones). Our Rockwell blocks optimise space efficiently and the optional grid allows you to correctly space the indentations. We can supply blocks to match your exact specifications, so if you have any special requirements please discuss them in detail with our team of experts.

If you need to know any more about the Reference Blocks that we supply at Foundrax, our team of professionals are always on hand to offer their expertise, as well as providing you with any advice or support that you require. Call us on 01458 274 888 or email us at sales@foundrax.co.uk today!
